The Egg Chair was originally designed in 1958 for the reception area in the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, by Arne Jacobsen. True to the original design, this unauthorised replica of the original Egg Chair is constructed from a solid one piece fiberglass inner core, surrounded by multi-density foam padding and covered in a pure wool fabric.
The base of the chair is constructed of solid cast aluminium, with rubber gliders on the base.
This item is packaged to minimise bulk, and may require some simple self-assembly, possibly using a screwdriver. If you have trouble assembling your item, please don't hesitate to contact us!
