La Via Lattea, the excellent project done by the husband and wife team of Gian Franco and Anna Gasparini presented in 2009 for Officina Alessi, was the result of research on the subject of cheese knives that eventually led to a series that is literally on the edge of being professional grade. The Milky Way Minor series takes the lessons learned from La Via Lattea to produce a series of cheese knives and servers ideally suited for everyday use. The soft cheese knife makes short work of Bries, fresh Chevre or even delicious Mozzarella!
