As is traditional at Pierro the wine is barrel fermented in new and one year old French barriques; 100% goes through the malolactic fermentation and regular lees stirring (battonage) takes place during its 12 month oak maturation.
With a pale straw colour and gently fragrant bouquet, this excellent vintage balances a characteristic creamy texture against a taut acid note, creating a tightly structured palate. May be savoured now, or cellared for another 3 years.
