Since 1921, Italian company Alessi has been known for its innovative and creative designs. It attracts some of the world’s foremost architects and designers to create its distinctive range of products for the home.

Launched by Alessi in 2004, the Big Shoom was designed by Briton, Nigel Coates. Noted for his sensuous and organic designs, even when working with severe materials such as metals, Coate’s work is hallmarked by a sense of fluidity and restrained curves.
