New York designer Sandy Chilewich has reinterpreted woven vinyl textiles for unusually durable tablemats.

The modern alternative to tabletop dressing, the Spun Vinyl range has a fantastic three-dimensional effect, like a web.  The material is created by pouring liquid vinyl through tiny holes onto a moving belt, then heat setting the strands.  It has a real Jackson Pollock feel and would complement a truly modern interior.  Placemats and table runners available.  (Round 36cm diameter Spun Vynyl placemats available on request)

The material is beautiful, durable and washable (just pop them in the sink and wash with warm water, dish detergent and a brush), require no ironing and always look neat.
